The Color Issue

Everybody needs to get over their color issues. If you believe that we were all created equal in God's sight and your biology textbooks prove that all humans have the same anatomical structure then why is interracial dating and having friends who vary in skin color an issue? People have been posting videos on youtube, talking in hair salons, arguing in school, and reprimanding friends and family for not falling into the hatred trap. Honestly its time to start getting pass the fear of something different. Why have a master key if all the locks aren't the same? (and all the little biracial babies prove that men clearly have master keys). Teaching your children to hate people because of the color of their skin does not make the world any better it just makes it worse, it perpetuates feelings of inferiority, anger, confusion and war.

"I can't get a job because the white man is keeping me down" (girl on a bus)
"I can't go in that neighborhood because I'll get shot by gangsters" (girl at school)
"My dad won't allow me to come to your house because he says it's not safe but you can come to mine" (girl at school)
"Black women are only out for your money or your semen, if they can't get your money they'll get pregnant and get welfare" (guy at McDonald's)
Is that (black) girl making you listen to this rap music?(friend's parent in middle school...he didn't say black but he wanted to)
All comments I've heard in the 2000's in life, as far as television goes there's no end to the racial "humor"
"don't bring home any half breeds"
"Is that your boyfriend or the cab driver?"

Did you laugh? Of course you did it's human nature to laugh but after you finish cryin and snottin over what you thought was funny...think about what's actually being said....

I loved cartoons on the weekends as a child and I loved it even more when my parents bought me 100 classic toons on VHS for my 6th birthday...and I'll never forget the images I saw or the messages that they brought along with them... (included are clips that show hate against all people because hate is an equal opportunity destroyer)

Many have started speaking out but is it enough?

I'll end here but really we need to examine ourselves and see what we are doing to others and to ourselves. We need to embrace each other and stop trying to play up the differences when the similarities between us far outweigh them.

ENJOY THE CLIPS AND WATCH YOUR MOUTH :)
