A Lesson Before Dying

I am constantly trying to evolve and become a better person and I really try not to judge people BUT.....sometimes I find myself trying to understand why people are so crazy. This Blog has been created in an effort to share my thoughts and hear what others have to say about the topics that have me going crazy. I always try to provoke good conversation and be meaningful in what I say hopefully you'll understand.

I'll leave you with a poem I wrote a couple years ago...Hope you enjoy the journey you'll take if you stick with me as I try to get us to RETURN TO CIVILIZATION :)

                                                            LIVE!
On this road called life we meet our worst enemies who often times become our best friends.
We meet our best friends who often become our worst enemies, and as we examine our judgments we feel a small pain in our sides.
Though we ignore what we think is unimportant we grow still more and more weary trying to figure out if the path we took was the right one. We never know.
We walk hand in hand with the person of our dreams until we experience our worst nightmares illuminating from the bodies of that very person...
Fear?
Is not something we acknowledge always strong and always ready to receive a new day as if nothing happened the day prior, and yet still our pains grow deeper.
without this pain we can what.... rule the earth? become a little more wealthy? become more powerful?
But what will we do with that strength? Ho will we compare to those who have made the same journey with less pain... we never know.
We call ourselves the strong ones but we never show our feelings...we will never be strong until we face our issues head on....but how can one know.....we never know
we never know when an accident will happen, when we will lose our loved ones, when our money will escape us, when our hearts will be broken, when our friends will desert us, or when we we will simply feel pain
why is it that we never know?
because all the while we are looking for a way to get rid of our pain instead of embracing it and using it to move forward.
As the future holds what we want, what we need, and what we can only imagine...
so does the present.
We need to stand back, reevaluate ourselves and our priorities.
So we will no longer just have a life
but we will truly
LIVE!

  1. This is really good! I'm really looking forward to reading more of your work. I have to agree with you though this world is getting a 'lotta' bit crazy and its time we start talking about some crucial changes that needs to take place...
